Sophy and Ryan’s wedding in the Macedon Ranges was the kind of day that reminds you what weddings are really about - friends, family, connection, and creating something deeply personal together. Held on Sophy’s family property, where she grew up surrounded by years of memories, the entire celebration felt incredibly meaningful from beginning to end. It was truly a labour of love, with so many thoughtful touches brought to life by the people closest to them. Friends helped set up in the morning, one acted as celebrant, another read a poem during the ceremony, another made their beautiful cake, and another kept the dance floor going as DJ long into the night.

Rather than spending the day rushing between formalities, Sophy and Ryan prioritised being present and enjoying every moment, choosing to have their portraits before the ceremony so they could fully settle into the celebrations afterwards. Wild, romantic florals from Fleur de Lyonville filled the space beautifully, alongside delicious local food from Bar Merenda. Sophy wore a stunning gown from Lola Varma, and everywhere you looked there was warmth, care, and love woven through the day. It was heartfelt, joyful, and deeply connected - the kind of wedding that stays with you long after it’s over.
